All parties represented by a single attorney or whose interests are essentially identical are deemed one “party” for the purposes of the mediation fee. A full day mediation is 8 hours and a half day is 4 hours. We ask that half day mediations begin in the morning and that counsel and the parties keep their afternoon open in the event additional time is needed. All additional mediation time, if any, is billed at $100 per hour per party. The fee is due prior to the mediation or on the day of the mediation as long as my office has been notified that payment will be made upon arrival.
Fees may be adjusted due to special circumstances on a case-by-case basis. For example, mediations occurring in counties not listed above, five or more parties, financial hardship, etc. Please contact us for more information.
